Brass Blocks for Hot Foil Stamping

Machine cut brass blocks are ideal for hot foil stamping into leather & other softer materials.

Our brass blocks are precision machined. The CNC machining process enables us to achieve a standard depth of 3mm to reduce occurrences of foil 'spreading' on finished items. Brass blocks are also durable and provide very good fine detail reproduction.

We are able to manufacture flat tooling to a very high standard and can offer next working day shipping in most cases, at very reasonable prices.

Brass blocks are used for many of the same applications as magnesium blocks but is usually preferable for longer runs or when more durability is desired. Brass is also an excellent heat conductor and retains heat longer than magnesium.

We now advise most of our customers to use brass blocks in place of copper as the lack of chemical agents used during the manufacture proccess also makes these blocks much more ecologically sound than their etched equivalents.

Every brass block is hand finished by our skilled technicians.

We can also accept hardcopy artworks but we do not recommend this as quality will be reduced and there may be extra charges.
